"My personal motivation to work with Corporate Social Responsibility is my conviction that the planet has to maintain liveable for our children and grandchildren en become liveable where it is currently not.
Making a profit is a necessity for every company that wants to maintain continuity. If CSR forms an integrated part of the business process, it not only costs, it also produces money. When a business realizes this and when it learns how it can influence other parties, it causes a real multiplier; an exponential effect. As a result, sustainability becomes a unique characteristic that goes beyond adding a green leaf to your logo. The good thing is that employees are being inspired to make more conscious choices in their private live too.”

What is your favourite dish?
The Italian kitchen is my source of inspiration, since it focusses on the basis: products that taste good by themselves and therefore can be transformed in a great dish quite fast. For example: spaghetti with shrimps& rucola, Lamb chops with rosemary potatoes and spumante with citrus sorbet icecream. Of course, all of this needs to be accompanied with a nice glass of wine.
Which book should everybody read?
"Sam of de ploeterdag" by Max van Dendermonde. It tones down our hasty culture in a fantastic way.
What is the best advice you ever got?
"You had me at hello", or the power of silence.

Since 1986 I have my truck drivers license.
